Made from durable materials
VELUX roller shutters are made of hard-wearing aluminium to ensure top performance no matter what the season or weather. The roller shutters run in side rails made of lacquered aluminium. They are automatically hidden in a top casing that is integrated into the window when not in use, maintaining your views and outside visibility. Combine with other VELUX blinds VELUX roller shutters can be combined with all VELUX interior blinds for additional light control and VELUX insect screen for an insect-free environment – even when your window is open.

This blind is available for GPL, GGL and GGU in the following sizes: SSL MK04, SSL FK06, SML SK06, SML UK08 and in the following colour: 0000S.

Light grey:
On this roller shutter, the slats, top casing, side covers, side profiles, bottom cover and alle other visible metal parts are made of lacquered aluminium in light grey. This shutter is recommended for all VELUX roof windows with a zinc exterior cladding.

Dark grey (standard):
On this roller shutter, the slats, top casing, side covers, side profiles, bottom cover and all other visible metal parts are made of lacquered aluminium in dark grey. This shutter is recommended for VELUX roof windows with aluminum cladding.

Dark grey with copper:
On this roller shutter, the slats, top casing and side profiles are made of lacquered aluminium in dark grey but the bottom and side covers are made of copper. The copper isn't visible, but this shutter fits VELUX roof windows with copper parts and is made specifically for such windows in order to avoid corrosion. VELUX roller shutters run in side channels made of lacquered aluminum. They also come with a top cover that is beautifully integrated into the window and roof and can hide the shutter when not in use.

Installation of roller shutters
VELUX roller shutters can be installed from the outside as well as inside of your home. They are mounted directly on the window frame and are invisible from the inside of your home when not in use. The shutters are simple to install, but we recommend that you contact a professional installer. Installation instructions  will of course be included when you purchase a shutter.
